The howler monkeys were a fun wake-up call, and the homemade food was excellent. My room had big glass doors opening to the forest, so I could see toucans and iguanas right outside. Cari and Ryan were fantastic hosts-super cute! So many activities to choose from, like kayaking in the mangroves.

We loved paddling through the mangroves for an amazing birdwatching experience. The beach was priceless, and having howler monkeys close by added to the charm. Our two young kids enjoyed every moment exploring Mother Nature's playground.
My children wanted more child-friendly activities available.

An extraordinary experience immersed in nature, with howler monkeys entertaining us daily and fine views from our spacious room. The fresh, authentic food was a delight, particularly the tapas. While the road access was challenging and required a 4x4, and nighttime noises could disrupt sleep, the warm hospitality of the hosts made these minor inconveniences worthwhile. We loved kayaking through the mangroves, spotting toucans and the very nice wildlife around us.
